Romans 6:18-20
Disciples’ Literal New Testament
18 And having been set-free from sin, you were enslaved[a] to righteousness 19 (I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh). For just as you presented your body-parts as slaves to impurity and lawlessness leading-to lawlessness, so now present your body-parts as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness.
The Fruit of Sin Is Shame And Death; Righteousness Leads To Holiness And Life
20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free to[b] righteousness.

New International Version
18 You have been set free from sin(A) and have become slaves to righteousness.(B)
19 I am using an example from everyday life(C) because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness(D) leading to holiness. 20 When you were slaves to sin,(E) you were free from the control of righteousness.(F)
