¹⁹ I am using a human analogy^(A) because of the weakness of your flesh.^[a] For just as you offered the parts of yourselves as slaves to impurity, and to greater and greater lawlessness, so now offer them as slaves to righteousness, which results in sanctification.

²² But now, since you have been set free from sin and have become enslaved to God,^(A) you have your fruit, which results in sanctification^(B)—and the outcome is eternal life!^(C)

³⁰ It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us—our righteousness,^(A) sanctification,^(B) and redemption^(C)—

Stand Firm

¹³ But we ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because from the beginning^[a] God has chosen^(A) you for salvation through sanctification^(B) by the Spirit and through belief in the truth.

¹⁵ But she will be saved through childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and holiness,^(A) with good sense.
