⁶ But now we have been ^(A)released from the Law, having ^(B)died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in ^(C)newness of ^(D)the ^[a]Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.

¹⁷ Therefore if anyone is ^(A)in Christ, this person is ^(B)a new ^[a]creation; ^(C)the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

¹⁵ For ^(A)neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a ^(B)new ^[a]creation.

²³ and that you are to be ^(A)renewed in the spirit of your minds, ²⁴ and to ^(B)put on the ^(C)new ^[a]self, which ^[b](D)in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

²⁵ Therefore, ^(E)ridding yourselves of falsehood, ^(F)speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, because we are ^(G)parts of one another. ^26 (H)Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, ²⁷ and do not ^(I)give the devil ^[c]an opportunity. ²⁸ The one who steals must no longer steal; but rather ^(J)he must labor, ^(K)producing with his own hands what is good, ^(L)so that he will have something to share with the one who has need. ²⁹ Let no ^[d](M)unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but if there is any good word for ^(N)edification ^[e]according to the need of the moment, say that, so that it will give grace to those who hear. ^30 (O)Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, ^[f]by whom you were ^(P)sealed for the day of redemption. ^31 (Q)All bitterness, wrath, anger, ^[g]clamor, and slander must be ^(R)removed from you, along with all ^(S)malice. ^32 (T)Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, ^(U)just as God in Christ also has forgiven ^[h]you.
