27 God sees deep inside us, and he knows our thoughts. He understands what is in the mind of his Spirit. When the Holy Spirit prays on behalf of God's people, he prays as God wants him to pray.
28 We know that God works to help those people who love him. He uses everything that happens to them to bring something good. He does this for those people that he has chosen to serve him. 29 God already had those people in his thoughts from the beginning. He decided that they should become like his Son. So then, his Son would have many younger brothers and sisters.

New International Version
27 And he who searches our hearts(A) knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes(B) for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good(C) of those who love him, who[a] have been called(D) according to his purpose.(E) 29 For those God foreknew(F) he also predestined(G) to be conformed to the image of his Son,(H) that he might be the firstborn(I) among many brothers and sisters.
