27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers[a] in harmony with God’s own will. 28 And we know that God causes everything to work together[b] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. 29 For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn[c] among many brothers and sisters.

27 And he who searches our hearts(A) knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes(B) for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good(C) of those who love him, who[a] have been called(D) according to his purpose.(E) 29 For those God foreknew(F) he also predestined(G) to be conformed to the image of his Son,(H) that he might be the firstborn(I) among many brothers and sisters.
