²⁸ And we know that ^[a]God causes ^(A)all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are ^(B)called according to His purpose.

²⁶ For ^[a]consider your ^(A)calling, brethren, that there were ^(B)not many wise according to ^[b]the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble;

¹⁸ I pray that ^(A)the eyes of your heart ^[a]may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the ^(B)hope of His ^(C)calling, what are ^(D)the riches of the glory of ^(E)His inheritance in ^(F)the ^[b]saints,

Unity of the Spirit

4 Therefore I, ^(A)the prisoner of the Lord, ^(B)implore you to ^(C)walk in a manner worthy of the ^(D)calling with which you have been ^(E)called,

⁴ There is ^(A)one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one ^(B)hope of your calling;

¹⁴ I ^(A)press on toward the goal for the prize of the ^(B)upward call of God in ^(C)Christ Jesus.

¹¹ To this end also we ^(A)pray for you always, that our God will ^[a](B)count you worthy of your ^(C)calling, and fulfill every desire for ^(D)goodness and the ^(E)work of faith with power,

⁹ who has ^(A)saved us and ^(B)called us with a holy ^(C)calling, ^(D)not according to our works, but according to His own ^(E)purpose and grace which was granted us in ^(F)Christ Jesus from ^(G)all eternity,

3 Therefore, ^(A)holy brethren, partakers of a ^(B)heavenly calling, consider Jesus, ^(C)the Apostle and ^(D)High Priest of our ^(E)confession;
