³ For ^(A)what the Law could not do, ^[a](B)weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in ^(C)the likeness of ^[b]sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

²¹ Is the Law then contrary to the promises of God? ^(A)May it never be! For ^(B)if a law had been given which was able to impart life, then righteousness ^[a]would indeed have been ^[b]based on law.

^11 (A)Now if perfection was through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it ^(B)the people received the Law), what further need was there for another priest to arise ^(C)according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be designated according to the order of Aaron?
