Romans 9:8-10

8 That is, these children of the flesh are not children of God, but the children of [a] the promise are counted for seed. 9 For the word of promise is this: “I will come at this time, and there will be a son to Sarah” [Gen 18:10]. 10 And not only this, but there is also Rebekah having bed[b] from one man, Isaac our father.

New International Version
8 In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children,(A) but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.(B) 9 For this was how the promise was stated: “At the appointed time I will return, and Sarah will have a son.”[a](C)
10 Not only that, but Rebekah’s children were conceived at the same time by our father Isaac.(D)
