³² Although they know full well God’s just sentence—that those who practice such things deserve to die^[a](A)—they not only do them, but even applaud^[b](B) others who practice them.

Death through Adam and Life through Christ

¹² Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man,^(A) and death through sin,^(B) in this way death spread to all men,^(C) because all sinned.^[a]

⁶ For the mind-set of the flesh^(A) is death,^(B) but the mind-set of the Spirit is life and peace.

¹³ for if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die. But if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body,^(A) you will live.

⁸ because the one who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit^(A) will reap eternal life^(B) from the Spirit.
