⁸ But what does it say? “^(A)The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,

¹⁷ So faith comes from ^(A)hearing, and hearing by ^(B)the word ^[a]of Christ.

²⁸ But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are ^(A)those who hear the word of God and follow it.”

¹⁸ and we ourselves heard this ^[a]declaration made from heaven when we were with Him on the ^(A)holy mountain.

¹⁹ And so we have ^(B)the prophetic word made more ^(C)sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to ^(D)a lamp shining in a dark place, until the ^(E)day dawns and the ^(F)morning star arises ^(G)in your hearts.

⁹ And having been ^(A)perfected, He became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey Him,
