⁸ But what does it say? ^(A)“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach):

¹⁷ So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

²⁸ But He said, ^(A)“More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”

¹⁸ And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on ^(A)the holy mountain.

^19 [a]And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a ^(B)light that shines in a dark place, ^(C)until ^(D)the day dawns and the morning star rises in your ^(E)hearts;

⁹ And ^(A)having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,
