⁶ The one who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and the one who eats, ^[a]does so with regard to the Lord, for he ^(A)gives thanks to God; and the one who does not eat, it is for the Lord that he does not eat, and he gives thanks to God.

³⁰ If I partake with thankfulness, ^(A)why am I slandered about that for which I ^(B)give thanks?

³¹ Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or ^(C)whatever you do, do all things for the glory of God. ^32 (D)Do not offend Jews or Greeks, or ^(E)the church of God; ³³ just as I also ^(F)please everyone in all things, ^(G)not seeking my own benefit but the benefit of the many, ^(H)so that they may be saved.

³ who ^(A)forbid marriage and advocate ^(B)abstaining from foods which ^(C)God has created to be ^(D)gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.
