Romans 7:24-8:4
New International Version
24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?(A) 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!(B)
So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law,(C) but in my sinful nature[a] a slave to the law of sin.(D)
Life Through the Spirit
8 Therefore, there is now no condemnation(E) for those who are in Christ Jesus,(F) 2 because through Christ Jesus(G) the law of the Spirit who gives life(H) has set you[b] free(I) from the law of sin(J) and death. 3 For what the law was powerless(K) to do because it was weakened by the flesh,[c](L) God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh(M) to be a sin offering.[d](N) And so he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement(O) of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.(P)
