²⁸ And we know that ^[a]God ^[b]causes ^(A)all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are ^(B)called according to His purpose. ²⁹ For those whom He ^(C)foreknew, He also ^(D)predestined to become ^(E)conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the ^(F)firstborn among many brothers and sisters; ³⁰ and these whom He ^(G)predestined, He also ^(H)called; and these whom He called, He also ^(I)justified; and these whom He justified, He also ^(J)glorified.

^31 (K)What then shall we say to these things? ^(L)If God is for us, who is against us? ³² He who ^(M)did not spare His own Son, but ^(N)delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? ³³ Who will bring charges against ^(O)God’s elect? ^(P)God is the one who justifies; ³⁴ who is the one who ^(Q)condemns? Christ Jesus is He who ^(R)died, but rather, was ^[c](S)raised, who is ^(T)at the right hand of God, who also ^(U)intercedes for us. ³⁵ Who will separate us from ^(V)the love of ^[d]Christ? Will ^(W)tribulation, or trouble, or ^(X)persecution, or ^(Y)famine, or ^(Z)nakedness, or ^(AA)danger, or sword? ³⁶ Just as it is written:

³⁷ But in all these things we overwhelmingly ^(AC)conquer through ^(AD)Him who loved us. ³⁸ For I am convinced that neither ^(AE)death, nor life, nor ^(AF)angels, nor principalities, nor ^(AG)things present, nor things to come, nor powers, ³⁹ nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from ^(AH)the love of God that is ^(AI)in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁴ just as ^(A)He chose us in Him before ^(B)the foundation of the world, that we would be ^(C)holy and blameless before ^[a]Him. ^(D)In love ^5 [b]He ^(E)predestined us to ^(F)adoption as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ to Himself, ^(G)according to the good pleasure of His will, ^6 (H)to the praise of the glory of His grace, with which He favored us in ^(I)the Beloved. ^7 (J)In ^[c]Him we have ^(K)redemption ^(L)through His blood, the ^(M)forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to ^(N)the riches of His grace ⁸ which He ^[d]lavished on ^[e]us. In all wisdom and insight ⁹ He ^[f](O)made known to us the mystery of His will, ^(P)according to His good pleasure which He ^(Q)set forth in Him, ¹⁰ regarding His plan of ^(R)the fullness of the times, ^(S)to bring all things together in Christ, things ^[g]in the heavens and things on the earth. ^11 [h]In Him we also ^(T)have obtained an inheritance, having been ^(U)predestined ^(V)according to the purpose of Him who works all things ^(W)in accordance with the plan of His will, ¹² to the end that ^[i]we who were the first to hope in the ^[j]Christ would be ^(X)to the praise of His glory. ¹³ In ^[k]Him, ^[l]you also, after listening to ^(Y)the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also ^[m]believed, you were ^(Z)sealed in ^[n]Him with ^(AA)the Holy Spirit of the promise, ¹⁴ who is a ^(AB)first installment of ^(AC)our inheritance, in regard to the ^(AD)redemption of ^(AE)God’s own possession, ^(AF)to the praise of His glory.

¹⁵ For this reason I too, ^(AG)having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and ^[o]your love for ^(AH)all the ^[p]saints, ^16 (AI)do not cease giving thanks for you, ^(AJ)while making mention of you in my prayers; ¹⁷ that the ^(AK)God of our Lord Jesus Christ, ^(AL)the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of ^(AM)wisdom and of ^(AN)revelation in the ^[q]knowledge of Him. ¹⁸ I pray that ^(AO)the eyes of your heart ^[r]may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the ^(AP)hope of His ^(AQ)calling, what are ^(AR)the riches of the glory of ^(AS)His inheritance in ^(AT)the ^[s]saints, ¹⁹ and what is the ^[t]boundless greatness of His power toward us who believe. ^(AU)These are in accordance with the working of the ^(AV)strength of His might ²⁰ which He brought about in Christ, when He ^(AW)raised Him from the dead and ^(AX)seated Him at His right hand in ^(AY)the heavenly places, ²¹ far above ^(AZ)all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every ^(BA)name that is named, not only in ^(BB)this age but also in the one to come. ²² And He ^(BC)put all things in subjection under His feet, and made Him ^(BD)head over all things to the church, ²³ which is His ^(BE)body, the ^(BF)fullness of Him who ^(BG)fills ^(BH)all in all.
