²⁴ even us whom he ^(A)has called, ^(B)not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles?

^9 (A)God is faithful, by whom you were called into the ^(B)fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

¹⁵ But if the unbelieving partner separates, let it be so. In such cases the brother or sister is not enslaved. God has called you^{[a] (A)}to peace.

Live as You Are Called

¹⁷ Only let each person lead the life^{[a] (A)}that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him. ^(B)This is my rule in ^(C)all the churches.

¹⁵ But when he ^(A)who had set me apart ^(B)before I was born,^[a] and who ^(C)called me by his grace,

⁸ This persuasion is not from ^(A)him who calls you.

Unity in the Body of Christ

4 I therefore, ^(A)a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to ^(B)walk in a manner worthy of ^(C)the calling to which you have been called,

⁴ There is ^(A)one body and ^(B)one Spirit—just as you were called to the one ^(C)hope that belongs to your call—

^9 (A)who saved us and ^(B)called us to^[a] a holy calling, ^(C)not because of our works but because of ^(D)his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus ^(E)before the ages began,^[b]
