² And he said to his mother, “The 1,100 pieces of silver that were taken from you, about which you uttered a curse, and also spoke it in my ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it.” And his mother said, ^(A)“Blessed be my son by the Lord.”

¹³ And Samuel came to Saul, and Saul said to him, ^(A)“Blessed be you to the Lord. I have performed the commandment of the Lord.”

²¹ And Saul said, ^(A)“May you be blessed by the Lord, ^(B)for you have had compassion on me.

⁵ David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh-gilead and said to them, ^(A)“May you be blessed by the Lord, because you showed this loyalty to Saul your lord and buried him.
