¹³ So Boaz took Ruth to be his wife, and when he had marital relations with her, the Lord made her conceive, and she bore a son. ¹⁴ Then the women of Bethlehem^[a] told Naomi, “May the Lord be blessed,^[b] who has not left you today without a related redeemer. May his name become famous throughout Israel!
