34 Èmi yóò máa fi ìbùkún fún Olúwa nígbà gbogbo;
    ìyìn rẹ̀ yóò máa wà ní ẹnu mi títí láé.
Ọkàn mí yóò máa ṣògo nínú Olúwa;
    jẹ́ kí àwọn onírẹ̀lẹ̀ gbọ́ kí inú wọn kí ó sì máa dùn.
Gbé Olúwa ga pẹ̀lú mi;
    kí ẹ sì jẹ́ kí a jọ gbé orúkọ rẹ̀ lékè.

Èmi wá Olúwa, ó sì dá mi lóhùn;
    Ó sì gbà mí kúrò nínú ìbẹ̀rù mi gbogbo.
Wọ́n wò ó, ìmọ́lẹ̀ sì mọ́ wọn;
    ojú kò sì tì wọ́n.
Ọkùnrin olùpọ́njú yí kígbe, Olúwa sì gbóhùn rẹ̀;
    ó sì gbà á là kúrò nínú gbogbo ìpọ́njú rẹ̀.
Angẹli Olúwa yí àwọn tí ó bẹ̀rù rẹ̀ ká
    ó sì gbà wọ́n.

Tọ́ ọ wò kí o sì rí i wí pé Olúwa dára;
    ẹni ayọ̀ ni ọkùnrin náà tí ó gbẹ́kẹ̀lé ààbò nínú rẹ̀.
Ẹ bẹ̀rù Olúwa, ẹ̀yin ènìyàn rẹ̀ mímọ́,
    nítorí pé kò sí àìní fún àwọn tí ó bẹ̀rù rẹ̀.
10 Àwọn ọmọ kìnnìún a máa ṣe aláìní ebi a sì máa pa wọ́n;
    ṣùgbọ́n àwọn tí ó wá Olúwa kì yóò ṣe aláìní ohun tí ó dára.
11 Wá, ẹ̀yin ọmọ mi, fi etí sí mi;
    èmi yóò kọ́ ọ yín ní ẹ̀rù Olúwa.
12 (A)Ta ni nínú yín tí ń fẹ́ ìyè, tí ó sì ń fẹ́ ọjọ́ púpọ̀;
    kí ó lè gbádùn ọjọ́ rere?
13 Pa ahọ́n rẹ̀ mọ́ kúrò nínú ibi
    àti ètè rẹ̀ kúrò ní ẹ̀tàn sísọ.
14 Yà kúrò nínú ibi kí o sì ṣe rere;
    wá àlàáfíà, kí o sì lépa rẹ̀.

15 Ojú Olúwa ń bẹ lára àwọn olódodo;
    etí i rẹ̀ sì ṣí sí ẹkún wọn.
16 Ojú Olúwa korò sí àwọn tí ń ṣe búburú;
    láti ké ìrántí wọn kúrò lórí ilẹ̀.

17 Nígbà tí olódodo bá ké fún ìrànlọ́wọ́,
    Olúwa a máa gbọ́, a sì yọ wọ́n jáde láti inú gbogbo wàhálà wọn.
18 Olúwa súnmọ́ etí ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn oníròbìnújẹ́ ọkàn;
    ó sì gba irú àwọn tí í ṣe oníròra ọkàn là.

19 Ìpọ́njú àwọn olódodo pọ̀,
    ṣùgbọ́n Olúwa gbà wọ́n kúrò nínú gbogbo rẹ̀.
20 Ó pa gbogbo egungun wọn mọ́;
    kò sí ọ̀kan tí ó dá nínú wọn.

21 Ibi ni ó mú ikú ìkà wá,
    àti àwọn tí ó kórìíra olódodo ni yóò jẹ̀bi.
22 Olúwa ra ọkàn àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀ padà;
    kò sí ọ̀kan nínú àwọn tí ó gbẹ́kẹ̀lé tí yóò jẹ̀bi.

Psalm 34[a][b]

Of David. When he pretended to be insane(A) before Abimelek, who drove him away, and he left.

I will extol the Lord at all times;(B)
    his praise will always be on my lips.
I will glory(C) in the Lord;
    let the afflicted hear and rejoice.(D)
Glorify the Lord(E) with me;
    let us exalt(F) his name together.

I sought the Lord,(G) and he answered me;
    he delivered(H) me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant;(I)
    their faces are never covered with shame.(J)
This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
    he saved him out of all his troubles.(K)
The angel of the Lord(L) encamps around those who fear him,
    and he delivers(M) them.

Taste and see that the Lord is good;(N)
    blessed is the one who takes refuge(O) in him.
Fear the Lord,(P) you his holy people,
    for those who fear him lack nothing.(Q)
10 The lions may grow weak and hungry,
    but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.(R)
11 Come, my children, listen(S) to me;
    I will teach you(T) the fear of the Lord.(U)
12 Whoever of you loves life(V)
    and desires to see many good days,
13 keep your tongue(W) from evil
    and your lips from telling lies.(X)
14 Turn from evil and do good;(Y)
    seek peace(Z) and pursue it.

15 The eyes of the Lord(AA) are on the righteous,(AB)
    and his ears are attentive(AC) to their cry;
16 but the face of the Lord is against(AD) those who do evil,(AE)
    to blot out their name(AF) from the earth.

17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears(AG) them;
    he delivers them from all their troubles.
18 The Lord is close(AH) to the brokenhearted(AI)
    and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

19 The righteous person may have many troubles,(AJ)
    but the Lord delivers him from them all;(AK)
20 he protects all his bones,
    not one of them will be broken.(AL)

21 Evil will slay the wicked;(AM)
    the foes of the righteous will be condemned.
22 The Lord will rescue(AN) his servants;
    no one who takes refuge(AO) in him will be condemned.
