Salmo 71
Ang Pulong Sang Dios
Isugid ang mga Ginhimo sang Dios Hasta San-o
71 Ginoo, sa imo ako nagapangayo sang proteksyon.
Indi pag-itugot nga mahuy-an ako.
2 Buligi ako kag luwasa tungod kay matarong ka.
Pamatii ako kag luwasa.
3 Protektari ako kay pareho ka sa palalipdan nga bato;
sa imo ako permi magadangop.
Magsugo ka nga luwason ako, kay ikaw ang akon palalipdan nga bato kag mabakod nga palanaguan.
4 O Dios ko, luwasa ako sa kamot sang malaot kag mapintas nga mga tawo.
5 Kay ikaw ang akon paglaom, O Ginoong Dios.
Halin sang bata pa ako, nagasalig na ako sa imo.
6 Halin sang akon pagkatawo nagasalig ako sa imo kag ginaprotektaran mo ako.[a]
Dayawon ko ikaw sa wala sing katapusan.
7 Nangin halimbawa ang akon kabuhi sa madamo, tungod kay ikaw ang akon malig-on nga manugprotektar.
8 Dayawon ko permi ang imo pagkagamhanan.
9 Indi ako pagsikwaya kon tigulang na ako.
Indi ako pagpabay-i kon maluya na ako.
10 Kay ang akon mga kaaway nagatipon kag nagaestoryahanay parte sa akon;
gusto nila ako nga patyon.
11 Nagasiling sila, “Ginpabay-an na siya sang Dios,
gani lagson ta siya kag dakpon
kay wala sing may magbulig sa iya.”
12 O Dios ko, indi ka magpalayo sa akon;
buligi ako gilayon.
13 Kabay pa nga ang mga nagaakusar sa akon mahuy-an kag malaglag.
Kabay pa nga ang gusto maghalit sa akon, mahuy-an kag yagutaon.
14 Pero ako iya, O Dios, magalaom permi sa imo,
kag dugangan ko pa gid ang pagdayaw sa imo.
15 Isugid ko permi ang imo matarong nga ginahimo nga amo ang pagluwas sa imo katawhan,
bisan indi ko ini matungkad.
16 Magakadto ako sa imo templo, Ginoong Dios, kag magdayaw sa imo tungod sang imo gamhanan nga mga ginhimo.
Ibantala ko ang imo lamang pagkamatarong.
17 O Dios, halin sang bata pa ako, gintudluan mo na ako parte sang imo makatilingala nga mga binuhatan,
kag hasta subong ginasugid ko ini.
18 Kag bisan tigulang na ako kag ubanon, indi ako pagpabay-i, O Dios,
samtang ginabantala ko ang imo gahom kag kusog sa masunod nga henerasyon.
19 Ang imo pagkamatarong, O Dios, indi matungkad.
Makatilingala ang imo mga ginhimo;
wala gid sing may pareho sa imo.
20 Bisan ginapaeksperiensya mo ako sang madamo nga mga pag-antos, hatagan mo ako liwat sang bag-o nga kabuhi;
daw pareho ako sa patay nga buhion mo liwat.
21 Himuon mo ako nga labi pa ka dungganon,
kag lipayon mo ako liwat.
22 O Dios ko, tungod sang imo katutom dayawon ko ikaw paagi sa pagtukar sang arpa.
Kantahan ko ikaw sang mga pagdayaw nga ginatukaran sang arpa, O Balaan nga Dios sang Israel.
23 Magahugyaw ako sa kalipay samtang nagakanta ako sang mga pagdayaw sa imo
tungod kay ginluwas mo ako.
24 Isugid ko permi ang imo pagkamatarong,
kay ang mga gusto maghalit sa akon nahuy-an kag nagsalasala.

King James Version
71 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
3 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5 For thou art my hope, O Lord God: thou art my trust from my youth.
6 By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.
7 I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.
8 Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.
9 Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
10 For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,
11 Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.
12 O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.
13 Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.
14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.
15 My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.
16 I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.
18 Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.
19 Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!
20 Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
21 Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
22 I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
24 My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.
