12 The flowers have appeared in the land;
The time for [a]pruning has arrived;
And the voice of the (A)turtledove has been heard in our land.
13 The (B)fig tree has ripened its figs,
And the (C)vines in blossom have given forth their fragrance.
Arise, my darling, my beautiful one,
And come along!’”
14 “[b]O (D)my dove, (E)in the clefts of the [c]rock,
In the secret place of the steep [d]pathway,
Let me see your appearance,
(F)Let me hear your voice;
For your voice is sweet,
And your appearance is (G)lovely.”

12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
13 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
14 O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.
