Ɛsɛ sɛ yɛyɛ saa, efisɛ, mo gyidi ne ɔdɔ a modɔ afoforo no den ara na ɛreyɛ. 4 Saa nti na yɛn ankasa yɛde mo hoahoa yɛn ho wɔ Onyankopɔn asafo horow mu no. Yɛde ɔtaa ne amanehunu a mokɔ so gyina ano no hoahoa yɛn ho. 5 Eyinom nyinaa di adanse sɛ, Onyankopɔn bu atɛntrenee ɛno nti, wɔbɛkan mo afra wɔn a wɔbɛkɔ n’ahenni a morehu ho amane no mu. 6 Onyankopɔn bɛyɛ nea ɛteɛ. Wɔn a wɔbɛma mo ahu amane no, ɔno nso bɛma wɔahu amane, 7 na mo a morehu amane no ne yɛn nso, wama yɛahome. Saa asɛm yi besi wɔ bere a Awurade Yesu nam ogyaframa mu fi soro reba a n’abɔfo atumfo ka ne ho no, 8 abɛtwe wɔn a wonnim Onyankopɔn na wontie yɛn Awurade Yesu Asɛmpa no aso. 9 Wɔbɛkɔ daa ɔsɛe mu na wɔayi wɔn afi Awurade anim ne n’anuonyam mu 10 da a ɔbɛma n’akyidifo ne n’asuafo ahyɛ no anuonyam no. Mo nso, mobɛfra saa nkurɔfo no mu, efisɛ, moagye asɛm a yɛka kyerɛɛ mo no adi.
11 Eyi nti na daa yɛbɔ mpae ma mo no. Yɛsrɛ Onyankopɔn sɛ ɔmma mo ntumi ntena ase mma asetena a ɛno nti ɔfrɛɛ mo no. 12 Onnyina ne tumi so mma mo tumi, nyɛ mo apɛde ne biribiara a mo gyidi bɛka akyerɛ mo sɛ monyɛ no nyinaa. 13 Yɛbɔ mpae sɛnea wɔnam yɛn Nyankopɔn ne Awurade Yesu Kristo adom so bɛhyɛ Awurade Yesu din anuonyam wɔ mo mu na mo nso, wɔahyɛ mo anuonyam wɔ ne mu.

1 Paul, Silas[a](A) and Timothy,(B)
To the church of the Thessalonians(C) in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.(D)
Thanksgiving and Prayer
3 We ought always to thank God for you,(E) brothers and sisters,[b] and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.(F) 4 Therefore, among God’s churches we boast(G) about your perseverance and faith(H) in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.(I)
5 All this is evidence(J) that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy(K) of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. 6 God is just:(L) He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you(M) 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven(N) in blazing fire(O) with his powerful angels.(P) 8 He will punish(Q) those who do not know God(R) and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.(S) 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction(T) and shut out from the presence of the Lord(U) and from the glory of his might(V) 10 on the day(W) he comes to be glorified(X) in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.(Y)
11 With this in mind, we constantly pray for you,(Z) that our God may make you worthy(AA) of his calling,(AB) and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness(AC) and your every deed prompted by faith.(AD) 12 We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you,(AE) and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.[c]

2 Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
