You deceived[a](B) me, Lord, and I was deceived[b];
    you overpowered(C) me and prevailed.
I am ridiculed(D) all day long;
    everyone mocks(E) me.
Whenever I speak, I cry out
    proclaiming violence and destruction.(F)
So the word of the Lord has brought me
    insult and reproach(G) all day long.
