Endagaano Enkadde nʼEndagaano Empya

Oluyimba nga balinnya amadaala.

121 Nnyimusa amaaso gange eri ensozi,
    okubeerwa kwange kuva wa?
2 (A)Okubeerwa kwange kuva eri Mukama,
    eyakola eggulu n’ensi.

3 Taliganya kigere kyo kusagaasagana;
    oyo akukuuma taabongootenga.
4 Laba, oyo akuuma Isirayiri
    taabongootenga so teyeebakenga.

5 (B)Mukama ye mukuumi wo;
    Mukama y’akusiikiriza ku mukono gwo ogwa ddyo;
6 (C)emisana enjuba teekwokyenga,
    wadde omwezi ekiro.

7 (D)Mukama anaakukuumanga mu buli kabi;
    anaalabiriranga obulamu bwo.
8 (E)Mukama anaakukumanga amagenda go n’amadda,
    okuva leero n’okutuusa emirembe gyonna.

Psalm 121

A song of ascents.

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
    where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven(A) and earth.(B)

3 He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches(C) over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord watches over(D) you—
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun(E) will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord will keep you from all harm(F)—
    he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.(G)
