22 It hurls itself against him without mercy^(D)
    as he flees headlong^(E) from its power.^(F)
23 It claps its hands^(G) in derision
    and hisses him out of his place.”^(H)

¹⁸ He is driven from light into the realm of darkness^(A)
    and is banished^(B) from the world.^(C)
