13 The Lord answered the angel with comforting words, 14 and the angel told me to proclaim what the Lord Almighty had said: “I have a deep love and concern for Jerusalem, my holy city, 15 and I am very angry with the nations that enjoy quiet and peace. For while I was holding back my anger against my people, those nations made the sufferings of my people worse.

13 So the Lord spoke(A) kind and comforting words(B) to the angel who talked with me.(C)
14 Then the angel who was speaking to me said, “Proclaim this word: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘I am very jealous(D) for Jerusalem and Zion, 15 and I am very angry with the nations that feel secure.(E) I was only a little angry,(F) but they went too far with the punishment.’(G)
