Zechariah 1:14-16

14 So the angel who was speaking with me said to me, “(A)Proclaim, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, “I am (B)exceedingly jealous for Jerusalem and Zion. 15 But I am very (C)angry with the nations who are (D)at ease; for while I was only a little angry, they [a](E)furthered the disaster.” 16 Therefore thus says the Lord, “I will (F)return to Jerusalem with compassion; My (G)house will be built in it,” declares the Lord of hosts, “and a measuring (H)line will be stretched over Jerusalem.”’

14 Then the angel who was speaking to me said, “Proclaim this word: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘I am very jealous(A) for Jerusalem and Zion, 15 and I am very angry with the nations that feel secure.(B) I was only a little angry,(C) but they went too far with the punishment.’(D)
16 “Therefore this is what the Lord says: ‘I will return(E) to Jerusalem with mercy, and there my house will be rebuilt. And the measuring line(F) will be stretched out over Jerusalem,’ declares the Lord Almighty.(G)
