Zechariah 12:8-10

8 In that day Yahweh will (A)defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the one who (B)stumbles among them in that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like (C)God, like the (D)angel of Yahweh before them. 9 And it will be in that day, that I will (E)seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
Mourning for the Pierced One
10 “And I will (F)pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem [a]the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have (G)pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one (H)mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.

8 On that day the Lord will shield(A) those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest(B) among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God,(C) like the angel of the Lord going before(D) them. 9 On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations(E) that attack Jerusalem.(F)
Mourning for the One They Pierced
10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit[a](G) of grace and supplication.(H) They will look on[b] me, the one they have pierced,(I) and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child,(J) and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.(K)
