Zechariah 3:3-5

³Now ^(A)Joshua was standing before the angel, ^(B)clothed with filthy garments. ⁴And the angel said to ^(C)those who were standing before him, ^(D)“Remove the filthy garments from him.” And to him he said, “Behold, ^(E)I have taken your iniquity away from you, and ^(F)I will clothe you with pure vestments.” ⁵And I said, ^(G)“Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord was standing by.

New International Version

³Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. ⁴The angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes.”

Then he said to Joshua, “See, I have taken away your sin,^(A) and I will put fine garments^(B) on you.”

⁵Then I said, “Put a clean turban^(C) on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of the Lord stood by.

³Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

⁴And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

⁵And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord stood by.
