Zechariah 4:8-10
Evangelical Heritage Version
8 Then the word of the Lord came to me:
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will also finish it. Then you will know that the Lord of Armies has sent me to you.
10 For who despises the day of small things? They will rejoice to see the plumb line[a] in the hand of Zerubbabel.
These seven are the eyes of the Lord that range throughout the whole earth.
Footnotes
- Zechariah 4:10 The builder uses the plumb line to show that the walls he has built are straight, not leaning. The modern equivalent is a level.
