The Coming King of Zion

Make a loud shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your (D)king is coming to you;

[d](G)Lowly and mounted on a donkey,
Even on a [e](H)colt, the [f]foal of a pack animal.

I will take the blood from their mouths,
    the forbidden food from between their teeth.

But I will encamp(C) at my temple
    to guard it against marauding forces.(D)
Never again will an oppressor overrun my people,
    for now I am keeping watch.(E)

Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion!(F)
    Shout,(G) Daughter Jerusalem!
See, your king comes to you,(H)
    righteous and victorious,(I)
lowly and riding on a donkey,(J)
    on a colt, the foal of a donkey.(K)
