Zephaniah 2:11-13
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

11 The Lord will be terrible to them, for He will make lean and famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship Him, every one from his place, even all the isles and coastlands of the nations.(A)

12 You Ethiopians also, you shall be slain by My sword.(B)

13 And [the Lord] will stretch out His hand against the north and destroy Assyria and will make Nineveh a desolation, dry as the desert.(C)

11 The Lord will be awesome(A) to them
    when he destroys all the gods(B) of the earth.(C)
Distant nations will bow down to him,(D)
    all of them in their own lands.

Cush

12 “You Cushites,[a](E) too,
    will be slain by my sword.(F)”

Assyria

13 He will stretch out his hand against the north
    and destroy Assyria,(G)
leaving Nineveh(H) utterly desolate
    and dry as the desert.(I)
