2 She (A)obeyed no voice,
She (B)accepted no discipline.
She did not (C)trust in the Lord,
She did not (D)approach her God.
3 Her (E)leaders within her are roaring lions,
Her judges are (F)wolves at evening;
They have no bones to gnaw in the morning.
4 Her prophets are (G)insolent, treacherous men;
Her (H)priests have profaned the sanctuary.
They have done violence to the Law.

3 Her officials within her
are roaring lions;(E)
her rulers are evening wolves,(F)
who leave nothing for the morning.(G)
4 Her prophets are unprincipled;
they are treacherous people.(H)
Her priests profane the sanctuary
and do violence to the law.(I)
