“for the day when I rise up to seize the prey.
For my decision is (B)to gather nations,
to assemble kingdoms,
to pour out upon them my indignation,
all my burning anger;
for in the fire of my jealousy
(C)all the earth shall be consumed.

2 For (A)I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and (B)the city shall be taken (C)and the houses plundered (D)and the women raped. (E)Half of the city shall go out into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 (F)Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle. 4 (G)On that day his feet shall stand (H)on (I)the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and (J)the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by (K)a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northwards, and the other half southwards.

2 I will gather all the nations(A) to Jerusalem to fight against it;(B) the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped.(C) Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.(D) 3 Then the Lord will go out and fight(E) against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle.(F) 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,(G) east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split(H) in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.
