34 Now Rachel had taken the [a]household idols and put them in the camel’s saddlebag, and she sat on them. So Laban searched through all the tent, but did not find them. 35 And she said to her father, “May my lord not be angry that I cannot (A)stand in your presence, because the [b]way of women is upon me.” So he searched but did not find the [c](B)household idols.

34 Now Rachel had taken the household gods(A) and put them inside her camel’s saddle(B) and was sitting on them. Laban searched(C) through everything in the tent but found nothing.
35 Rachel said to her father, “Don’t be angry, my lord, that I cannot stand up in your presence;(D) I’m having my period.(E)” So he searched but could not find the household gods.(F)
