Genesis 4:16-17

New International Version

¹⁶ So Cain went out from the Lord’s presence^(A) and lived in the land of Nod,^[a] east of Eden.^(B)

¹⁷ Cain made love to his wife,^(C) and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain was then building a city,^(D) and he named it after his son^(E) Enoch.
