  13. Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

  15. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
  16. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
  17. They discussed it among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask, ‘Then why didn’t you believe him?’
  18. At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it.
  19. Let this Messiah, this king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Those crucified with him also heaped insults on him.
  20. When they heard that Jesus was alive and that she had seen him, they did not believe it.
  21. These returned and reported it to the rest; but they did not believe them either.
  22. Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
  23. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
  24. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
  25. And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their appointed time.”
