  1. And Jesus said to the centurion, `Go, and as thou didst believe let it be to thee;' and his young man was healed in that hour.
  2. And he having come to the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus saith to them, `Believe ye that I am able to do this?' They say to him, `Yes, sir.'
  3. and whoever may cause to stumble one of those little ones who are believing in me, it is better for him that a weighty millstone may be hanged upon his neck, and he may be sunk in the depth of the sea.

  11. And Jesus immediately, having heard the word that is spoken, saith to the chief of the synagogue, `Be not afraid, only believe.'
  12. And Jesus said to him, `If thou art able to believe! all things are possible to the one that is believing;'
  13. and immediately the father of the child, having cried out, with tears said, `I believe, sir; be helping mine unbelief.'
  14. and whoever may cause to stumble one of the little ones believing in me, better is it for him if a millstone is hanged about his neck, and he hath been cast into the sea.
  15. for verily I say to you, that whoever may say to this mount, Be taken up, and be cast into the sea, and may not doubt in his heart, but may believe that the things that he saith do come to pass, it shall be to him whatever he may say.
  16. Because of this I say to you, all whatever -- praying -- ye do ask, believe that ye receive, and it shall be to you.
  17. And they were reasoning with themselves, saying, `If we may say, From heaven, he will say, Wherefore, then, did ye not believe him?
  18. `And then, if any may say to you, Lo, here [is] the Christ, or, Lo, there, ye may not believe;
  19. The Christ! the king of Israel -- let him come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe;' and those crucified with him were reproaching him.
  20. and they, having heard that he is alive, and was seen by her, did not believe.
  21. and they having gone, told to the rest; not even them did they believe.
  22. Afterwards, as they are reclining (at meat), he was manifested to the eleven, and did reproach their unbelief and stiffness of heart, because they believed not those having seen him being raised;
  23. he who hath believed, and hath been baptized, shall be saved; and he who hath not believed, shall be condemned.
  24. `And signs shall accompany those believing these things; in my name demons they shall cast out; with new tongues they shall speak;
  25. and lo, thou shalt be silent, and not able to speak, till the day that these things shall come to pass, because thou didst not believe my words, that shall be fulfilled in their season.'
