ABIDAN ə bī’ dən (אֲבִידָ֖ן, the [my] father is judge). A Benjamite prince, son of Gideoni, who represented his tribe as a census taker in the Wilderness of Sinai (Num 1:11; 2:22) and, as one of the twelve tribal princes, made an offering for the tribe of Benjamin at the dedication of the wilderness Tabernacle. Benjamin’s offering was on the ninth day (Num 7:60, 65).
