ASUPPIM ə sup’ ĭm (בֵּ֥ית הָאֲסֻפִּֽים). The word, found in the KJV of 1 Chronicles 26:15, 17, is more correctly rendered, as in the RSV and the ASV, STOREHOUSE, i.e. the Temple storehouse. Nehemiah 12:25 KJV tr. the same word THRESHOLDS; RSV has STOREHOUSES.
