HALLOHESH hă lō’ hĕsh (הַלּﯴחֵ֔שׁ, the whisperer). The father of Shallum, who, with his daughters, assisted in repairing the walls of Jerusalem (Neh 3:12, KJV HALOHESH). It is prob. the same man who is named among those who sealed Ezra’s covenant (Neh 10:24).
