Hannathon

HANNATHON hăn’ ə thŏn (חַנָּתֹ֑ן, regarded with favor). A town on the N border of Zebulun (Josh 19:14). The Amarna Tablets (14th cent.) refer to it twice. The annals of Tiglathpileser III (747-727 b.c.) mentions it once. It may be the modern Tell el-Bedeiwiyeh, a little N of Nazareth, or Kefr ’Anâu, NE of Rimmon. Its exact location is unknown.
