HARHAS här’ hăs (חַרְחַס׃֙, splendor). Grandfather of Shallum, the husband of Huldah, the prophetess who was consulted concerning Josiah’s book of the law (2 Kings 22:14). The name is given as “Hasrah” in the parallel passage (2 Chron 34:22).
