HIERONYMUS hī’ ə rŏn’ ə məs (̔Ιερώνυμος). A district governor in Pal. under Antiochus V, who with his fellow governors, Timotheus, Apollonius, and Demophon, harassed the Jews (2 Macc 12:2).
