HOBAH hō’ bə (חﯴבָ֔ה). The place to which Abraham pursued the defeated army of Chedorlaomer (Gen 14:15). It is described as being N of Damascus. It is prob. to be identified with the modern Hoba, about fifty m. N of Damascus, on the road to Palmyra.
