Kabzeel

KABZEEL kăb’ zĭ əl (קַבְצְאֵ֥ל, may God gather). A town in the extreme SE part of Judah, near the border of Edom (Josh 15:21). It was the native town of Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada, a leading officer of David and Solomon (2 Sam 23:20; 1 Chron 11:22). It was re-inhabited by the Judeans after the Exile (Neh 11:25). The site may possibly be modern Khirbet Horah.
