Kibzaim

KIBZAIM kĭb zā’ əm (קִבְצַ֨יִמ׃֙, two heaps). A city of Ephraim allotted to the Kohathite priests of Levi (Josh 21:22). It is prob. the same as the Jokmeam of 1 Chronicles 6:68. The proposed site is Gusin, about two m. NW of Nablus. However, if Jokmeam (1 Chron. 6:68), is the same as Jokneam, the site would be Tell qaimun, at the ft. of Mt. Carmel, some eight m. SE of Haifa. Neither location is certain.
