2:1–6:30 Jeremiah uses a number of vivid images (such as comparing Judah to a wild donkey and a prostitute) to indict Judah for unfaithfulness to God (2:1–3:5) and to warn of certain judgment if the nation will not repent and return to God (3:6–6:30).
