18:28 a hundred denarii. The Roman denarius was a daily wage for workers (20:2) and was equivalent to the Greek drachma (Acts 19:19). The sum owed by the second servant to the first is nothing compared to the debt of the first servant to the king; it was less than one part in a hundred thousand.
