Ps. 9 This lament begins like a thanksgiving, but in v. 13 the psalmist turns to the Lord with new petitions, and the psalm concludes on this note. Probably Ps. 9 and 10 were originally a single psalm. Together they form a single acrostic (see Introduction to Hebrew Poetry).
