The sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, which three were born unto him by the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the Lord; and He slew him.
The sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah; which three were born unto him of Shua’s daughter the Canaanitess. And Er, Judah’s first-born, was wicked in the sight of Jehovah; and he slew him.
The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah; the three were born to him by Shua’s daughter the Canaanitess. Er, Judah’s eldest, was evil in the Lord’s sight, and He put him to death.
The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah, whom Shua’s daughter the Canaanitess bore him. Er, Judah’s eldest, was evil in the Lord’s sight, and He slew him.
¶ The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the Lord; and he slew him.
Judah’s sons: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him by Bath-shua the Canaanite woman. Er, Judah’s firstborn, was evil in the Lord’s sight, so he put him to death.
Judah’s family: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him with Bath-shua the Canaanite. Although Er was Judah’s oldest, the Lord considered him wicked and put him to death.
The sons of Y’hudah: ‘Er, Onan and Shelah; the mother of these three was Bat-Shua the Kena‘anit. ‘Er, Y’hudah’s firstborn, was wicked from Adonai’s perspective, so he killed him.
Judah and his Canaanite wife Bathshua had three sons: Er, Onan, and Shelah. But the Lord had Er put to death, because he disobeyed and did what the Lord hated.
The sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah: [which] three were born to him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of Jehovah; and he slew him.
The sons of Juda: Her, Onan and Sela. These three were born to him of the Chanaanitess the daughter of Sue. And Her the firstborn of Juda, was wicked in the sight of the Lord, and he slew him.
Judah’s sons were Er, Onan, and Shelah. Bathshua from Canaan was their mother. The Lord killed Er, the first son, because he saw that he was evil.
Judah's sons were: Er, Onan and Shelah. Their mother was Bath-shua, who was a woman from Canaan. Judah's firstborn son Er did things that the Lord saw were evil. So the Lord killed him.
The sons of Judah were Er, Onan, and Shelah. Those three were born to him by Shua’s daughter, a Canaanite woman. Er, who was Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord, so he killed him.

Judah had three sons by Bathshua, a girl from Canaan: Er, Onan, and Shelah. But the oldest son, Er, was so wicked that the Lord killed him.
Judah had Er, Onan, and Shelah; their mother was Bathshua the Canaanite. Er, Judah’s firstborn, was so bad before God that God killed him. Judah also had Perez and Zerah by his daughter-in-law Tamar—a total of five sons. Perez had Hezron and Hamul; Zerah had Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Darda—five sons. Carmi had Achar, who brought doom on Israel when he violated a holy ban. Ethan’s son was Azariah. And Hezron had Jerahmeel, Ram, and Chelubai.
The sons of Judah were Er, Onan, and Shelah: These three were born to him by the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. Now Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the Lord, and He put him to death.

The sons of Judah were Er, Onan, and Shelah; these three were born to him of Shua, a daughter of Canaan. And Er, the first begotten (son) of Judah, was evil before the Lord, and the Lord killed him. (The sons of Judah were Er, Onan, and Shelah; these three were born to him of the daughter of Shua, of Canaan/these three were born to him of Bathshua, a Canaanite. And Er, the first-born son of Judah, was evil before the Lord, and the Lord killed him.)
